About

You don't need to be a writer. You only need to be willing to feel and be real.

The Brave Collective is Aloha Jacqueline's home for real connection, made up of writing circles, workshops and intimate evenings for real deal, courageous humans willing to be radically authentic with themselves and each other. Each gathering is an honest conversation without performance, a chance to connect with your heart, your truth and your voice, and get clearer on what really matters to you. You don't need to be a writer. You only need to be willing to feel and be real. Courage grows, and what you practise here spreads to the rest of your life.

Leave the mask at the door. Let shame loosen its grip.

What participants are saying

Real words from inside the circle.

“I arrived with some idea of what to expect, but I did not anticipate how meaningful the experience would be. It was wonderful to meet so many interesting women who share a love of expressing themselves through words. The atmosphere encouraged openness, creativity and genuine connection, and I left feeling inspired by the beautiful souls I met. Being welcomed into a new social circle was an unexpected bonus, but the greatest gift was discovering how many people are out there who understand the need to create and express themselves. Something shifted in me today. It reminded me why writing matters—and why finding the courage to step outside your comfort zone can lead to something truly special. Thank you for creating an experience I will remember.”
Lezanne · For the Love of She (How To Love A Woman)
“A beautifully facilitated experience. You created a space that felt safe, where you gently invited us to explore our inner worlds. I’ve been doing a lot of that lately — and this came with the instruction to approach and express it differently, creatively. Thank you. You’ve helped me reconnect with my inner self. You helped me be brave enough to try again.”
Talita
“I wasn’t sure about coming to this workshop. It’s not something I would normally do. But I’m very glad I came to this experience and kept an open mind. I was surprised by the words that came out of me and other people. A lot of wisdom is hiding in us, if we are brave enough to unlock it.”
Josh
“Beautifully held space for writing, using being present with specific senses as prompts. Recommended.”
Bettina · For the Love of She
“It was beyond expectation and I can’t wait for the next one.”
Anonymous · For the Love of She (The Spicy Edition)

Darnell
“So not what I expected (in a good way). Could have carried on for hours. You are so passionate and inspiring. Will definitely see you again.”
Liezl
“I never knew I could access a deeper level of experiences within, from my words. I’m leaving feeling, versus arriving and feeling.”
Anonymous
“Thank you so much. To my surprise, I can honestly say this has been such an amazing evening. Believe me, you will be seeing much more of me!”
